We determined that South Carolina and Maryland no longer have these laws due to court cases and that Pennsylvania’s is a bit ambiguous.
The No Religious Test Clause overrides the state laws, so there’s really no oppression against Atheists going on here.
However, if you happen to live in the Bible Belt, you’ll never get voted in anyways.

Sugared shortbread cookies
These are incredibly delicious alone or dipped in black coffee. They make wonderful homemade gifts, and the recipe is easy to adapt and get creative with. There’s also very few ingredients, and is essentially a fool-proof recipe.
It’s an all-around winner!

Pappa al pomodoro
I had a really great sourdough baguette, but only ate half of it before the rest became inedibly stale. I didn’t want to waste it, so I threw together some tomato bread soup!
Recipe is vegan and completely delicious as-is, but I topped it with some pecorino because I have no self-control.
Garlicky risotto, wine-braised butternut squash, pecorino toast, and a side salad.
